November 6, 2025 - MCOG has launched a new program over the past year, now well underway!

The Northern Rural Energy Network (NREN) is a newly established regional organization dedicated to providing energy efficiency programs and services to rural communities throughout Northern California. Mendocino Council of Governments is the local implementor for Mendocino County. We assist residents, businesses, non-profits, schools, and local governments with energy efficiency services and access to rebate and incentive programs. 

We are pleased to announce that the residential services detailed below are now available. In the coming months we will be expanding to include additional services including non-residential programs, workforce education and training, financing options, and more.
