September 20, 2024 - MCOG is in the process of updating the Regional Transportation Plan and Active Transportation Plan for the Mendocino County region.

The purpose of the plans is to identify needs and priority projects over the next 20 years for all modes of transportation including streets and roads, highways, bicycle and pedestrian facilities, and public transit.

2022 Regional Transportation Plan - Adopted

February 25, 2022 - The Council adopted the 2022 Regional Transportation Plan & Active Transportation Plan in the continued public hearing of February 7, directing staff to make necessary final revisions.

2017 Regional Transportation Plan Adopted

The 2017 Regional Transportation Plan was adopted by resolution after a public hearing at the Council's regular meeting of February 5, 2018. A finding was made of Negative Declaration of Environmental Impact pursuant to the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), following an orderly public process.
